Superfood Cookies

Well.. does this look like a chocolate mess or amazingness???

Pretty soon you’re gonna think my Quest Bar addiction has turned into a new addiction to these ..& maybe it has But these are a much more nutrient-packed option. Here’s the recipe for these Superfood cookies.

Makes ~12 cookies

2 scoops vanilla or Choc vegan Superfood
2 Tbsp Coconut Oil (not liquid form)
4 Tbsp Almond or Peanut Butter
4 Tbsp Almond or Coconut Milk
Mix all, ball up & flatten into cookie
Freeze for at least 15 min before eating
Chocolate drizzle optional

Quick HIIT Workout

What’s your go-to for a HIIT workout??

I love adding a quick HIIT onto my lift at least a few times a week. Sometimes it’s 20+ minutes, sometimes it’s under 10 minutes. It doesn’t have to be long (just intense) and it doesn’t have to be high impact. Low impact can still be high intensity in terms of heart rate.

Nike Air Max 270s

I’ve been on the hunt for these Nike Air Max 270’s for 2 weeks and finally found them at Finish Line!! Most stores don’t carry this blush color yet! But.. they’re NOT *supposedly* made for running or even working out. They’re classified as a “lifestyle” shoe but I personally see no problem strength training in them!

So excited to try roller skating again!

So excited to try roller skating again!! Chalene & I grew up roller skating quite a bit but it’s been a LONNNGG time! She *encouraged* (aka bossed) me & the girlfriends to get these!

Wish me luck!! If nothing else, probably will have some good falls for insta stories p.s. the wedges are my favorite by “Ipanema” from Amazon & leggings are from BB.

I coach women to start & succeed in their online business & I spend the majority of my time mentoring. It’s always mindset that’s the most important key to their success. Sometimes I wish I could understand what thoughts or past experiences or labels are stopping them from seeing their own potential.

Who struggles with cravings?

Who struggles with cravings?! In the afternoon? After work? At night? When you’re bored? When you’re feeling anxiety? When you’re tired?!

One way I’ve learned to manage that is through fulfilling the nutritional gaps causing those cravings and also tricking my mind to think I really AM having a splurge! My son & husband agreed this LEGIT tasted like a McDonald’s Shamrock Shake!

When I feel restricted & bored with clean eating and salads, even if I am getting the nutrients I need, I’m tempted to splurge simply because I “feel” restricted from fun foods. I had to restrict a LOT as a teen & thankfully those days (& those feelings) are over!

Know when a real splurge is worth it but also find delicious clean cheats that can be had daily because they’re actually HEALTHY !

Something is Better than Nothing

Didn’t get to finish my workout today.. only fit in 25 minutes BUT that doesn’t bother me. I don’t think it should bother YOU to shorten a workout if you have to either.

Something is better than nothing to keep your head in the game!

I personally think too many people don’t do a workout or finish a program because they get an all or nothing mentality.

How about we do our best and do better next time

Gut Health and Being Outside

Did you know being outside more helps GUT health?

YEP, according to one of the gut health experts in my sisters 131 Method, it’s one of his top tips to improve gut health. And it TOTALLY seems true for me!! I feel so much better once I’m getting outside more during the day.

So obviously.. being INDOORS – in an office, in a car, in your home all day is not good for gut health. This is a challenge for me bcuz I do NOT like being out in the cold ..and here in Ohio, it’s still freezing!

Cold-weather friends, we’ve got to bundle up & get out more (I type as I sit covered in blankets ). I know a lot of you are also interested in gut health so I figured I’d share my own reminder to get outside more
