Protect Your Positive Mindset

So true, right?

I have a lot of weaknesses but one thing I’m pretty good at is protecting my positive mindset. It’s a skill like anything else ️To do that, I try to only look back if it is to look back on what I could’ve done better/differently; but it’s a glance not a focus. What someone else did may be inspiring to me ..but not necessarily relevant to MY path.

The FOCUS has to be on what’s in front of us now

Then build muscle, limit alcohol to special occasions (slows metabolism significantly -74%-until it’s completely out of your system even when it’s just 1 drink, avoid skipping meals & sugary empty calories as those calories pretty much just feed fat cells, & fuel yourself with metabolism supportive nutrient-dense foods.

I’m NOT perfect, I just aim to always improve & be really good with my choices 80-90% of the time. It’s all about creating new habits & removing the old ones; a new normal.

I can gain weight SO easily since I do LOVE FOOD but the process of losing unwanted weight is tough. Develop new habits so you don’t feel restricted. It’s so worth it. Right?!

As healthy as I try to eat when traveling, like this cute lil hotel meal from this weekend, it’s the lil out-of-norm extras that can add up & leave you feeling like you’re starting at square 1 again An unknowingly high sodium restaurant meal, a drink or two, a dessert you wouldn’t normally have, coffee stops.. little things add up. Don’t stress!!!  even though you may feel like you did.

Do the best you can to make smart choices you won’t regret, workout & get back on track ASAP. In fact, I highly recommend the 3-day Refresh. I’m ordering one today.

For me when it’s a late workout (see last video post) & late dinner, I just do my vegan chocolate mint shakeology. High in muscle-building protein, low glycemic & shakeology is made up of 3-4 servings of fruits and veggies
