Maybe everyone already does this? For lounging & sleeping, I love the soft cheap leggings from Forever 21 & then I just cut slits in them .

We’re Moving!

We just bought this house (just 2 miles from where we live now), we’ve been busy showing our house & starting to move, getting our son ready to start school & football, traveling, preparing to launch our biz in the U.K., helping new coaches start their businesses, & just keeping our heads on straight. It’s all amazing & I’m not complaining

My workout locations will really vary over the next couple months until we get our home gym set up.

Romanian Deadlift vs Traditional Deadlift

Quick example of Romanian Deadlift on the left & traditional deadlift on the right.

On leg day, I usually am more focused on isolating my hamstrings in a deadlift (my hamstrings are a weakness of mine), so I usually prefer Romanian You keep your legs straighter and just lower that bar to your shins while keeping your chest up and back parallel to the floor. This was only 95# to demonstrate

If you’re struggling to reach your goals…

BUT …here’s the thing, you can eat SOOO healthy but if you are doing any of the following, you may be struggling to reach your goals:

1. Picking/grazing without realizing it. Empty calories & mindless grazing can add up SO FAST & yet are easy to forget you ate them.

2. Consuming too much sugar. Some foods that DO have nutritional value, also have added sugar (check the sugar content on your yogurt, your energy bars, your cereal/oatmeal, your “skinny latte” (skim milk has 15g sugar)

3. Consuming alcohol too often. Of course you gotta enjoy life, just decide when it’s worth it since it significantly slows your metabolism until it’s out of your system & is obviously addictive.

4. Doing too much of the same workouts. Even though you still FEEL like it’s tough & you’re sweating, you’ve GOT to mix it up & create muscle confusion.

5. Eating too little OR too much. Typically you’re unaware that’s the problem. You can’t eat like someone else & expect to have their results. If you think this could be it, follow the Portion Fix meal plan (container system which takes your data into consideration) or IIFYM (=if it fits your macros). You don’t have to track calories or macros or measure your foods for the rest of your life, but it’s good to have SOME clue of portions and macro nutrient needs so you can develop lifelong habits around that knowledge. Some people do well eating intuitively, but most have to track things at least once in a while because our habits and our bodies DO change.

Peloton Bike

Matt got me a Peloton bike for Christmas & I love it so better than our old bikes!!

But at $2500+ for the bike, monitor & monthly fees, it’s certainly NOT a necessity to spend that $ to get fitness results. But if you LOVE spinning, it’s something to consider.

And yes, you can be a successful Beachbody coach and still fit in other workouts you like –spinning, running, crossfit, power lifting, working out at a gym, etc. You just need to use and fully believe in the Beachbody mission and how our programs and products significantly change, & sometimes SAVE, lives
And actually, the business opportunity does all that & more

I don’t believe this business is for EVERYONE.

But …I’m SO thankful every single day that someone, my sister, told me to at least look into it.

It’s so good. Finally NOT another Kale salad ! I may have found a new favorite place to pick up salads ( Piata in Toledo) ! I asked them for no dressing. This is spinach, grilled chicken, feta, tomatoes, red onion, & green apple . Delishhh
