How many fruits do you eat EVERY day, without fail ??

My normal routine is to have an apple OR raspberries as one of my snacks & I usually have a half banana (in my shakeo) and I drink Shakeology daily (which automatically has 3-4 servings of fruits and vegetables in it by itself). So all that adds up to 3-4 servings of fruit per day. Yeah me I’m pretty happy with that By most meal plans, a half banana is a serving of fruit. I don’t use a full banana due to its higher sugar content.

Today was a 25 min run plus lifting (back). I know I’m lifting my back too much in the pendelay rows but I’m workin on it

This is SO good if you like eggs. This is 1 hard boiled egg cut up & mixed with mustard on top of a toasted Ezekiel English Muffin with tomato & avocado!

 

Weird but really good snack!

Well this was a weird but really good snack!

A kashi toasted blueberry waffle with plain Greek yogurt (sweetened w/ all natural SweetLeaf English Toffee stevia drops from Amazon), with lil bits of apple , , & strawberry . I drizzled a little bit of “just great stuff” over it (search Amazon) & I it was great but it made this look like vomit quite honestly, so here’s the more photogenic version.

About 19.5g protein, ~20g carbs, ~2.5g fat and ~180 calories. ☝🏼No I don’t usually track macros unless I’m off track for awhile (just calculating for those who do).

Who LOVES avocado? Best guac recipe?

Did you know you can test the ripeness of an avocado if that little green stem part comes off easily & it’s green underneath?

Well this one has already lost that part & it’s GRAY there = rotting

Apparently lemon or lime juice on guacamole will keep it from browning for 1 extra day.

And if an avocado just has a few brown spots, I’ve read it’s ok to cut that out & eat the rest (yay, cuz that’s what I do!)

It’s Thursday night & we avoided Pizza ! How about you?! For some reason, we crave pizza on Thursdays more than any other night… why is this???

And yes, I know this hollowback needs a more hollow back the wall climber needs to probably get even closer to the wall, & the handstand push-ups are barely a couple inches (..workin on it!)

But I am SO grateful I can even attempt these things. Never never take your health & fitness for granted

Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for being open to new perspectives and opinions but when you’re bummed out about a negative comment or one that you just completely disagree with, I think it helps to just say “well they haven’t experienced what I have” or maybe it’s “they don’t know ME or what I’ve overcome” but either way, don’t let others’ opinions hold you back! Right ??

Mint Chocolate RX Bar

What’s your favorite no-sugar, nothing artificial clean treat (other than Shakeology)?

I think this mint chocolate RX bar might be my new favorite RX bar flavor! There IS some sugar in these but it’s from the dates; still kinda high at 16g but still more nutrient dense than candy, a cookie, a highly processed protein bar, etc. Believe me, I have that stuff on occasion too but am always trying to improve.

There’s no added sugars and no sucralose, maltitol or any other sugar alcohols that upset my stomach either.

Nutrionist friends… what are YOUR thoughts on these as a clean treat?? State your credentials too if you don’t mind. TIA
