This is a great no-gym-required chest & core workout if I do say so myself!

“Reps until failure” means you do the # of reps that is very challenging for YOU. Everyone is at a different stage of their fitness journey so it’s going to be individual as to what # of reps is effective yet safe when just using body weight.

The last rep for each exercise should be tough enough that you’re making faces & possibly cussing but still able to keep good form.

As always, warm up first, modify as needed & stretch after

No-Show Sock Test

In all seriousness though, the winner of my no-show sock test are the Stance brand of “Super Invisible” socks & the Lorna Jane brand of “Secret Socks” They don’t show AT ALL *and* they don’t fall down (on me anyway)

You already know my favorite! BUT.. did you know I didn’t really like Turbo at first?! Nope! I went to Chalene’s class & I felt awkward doing it. I was teaching a very drill-style kickboxing at the time & I’m a bit stubborn to try new things.

What a mistake it would’ve been to not try it a few more times!

Tacos with NuCo Coconut Wraps

I’ve just decided we’re going to have tacos once a week now that I’m in love with these NuCo coconut wraps from Amazon.

They hold together better than the Ezekiel wraps I used to use AND they taste better (kinda sweet and chewy.. vs dry).

Avocados

You’re not avoiding avocados due to their high fat content, are you??

Eating fats doesn’t mean it gets STORED as fat. Fats keep you satiated whereas filling up on processed carbs & artificially sweetened food keeps you feeling hungry all day; not to mention nutrition deficiencies & energy crashes.

Matt & I go thru about an avocado a day! Maybe the phrase should be “an avocado a day keeps the Doctor away”

It’s the TRANS fats that are bad.
