OF COURSE warmup before you do this & modify it as needed. But the 1-minute drill should be INTENSE FOR YOU (whatever intense looks like for you!👌🏽)

At least once every day, I’m either in a time crunch for a meal OR I’m wanting something nutritionally dense but AMAZING, so this is my go-to.

During those cleans, my right arm was 1000% all into it & my left arm was like taking a nap just along for the ride. I literally stopped to give it a dirty look at one poin

Finely Chopped Salads

Finely chopped makes SUCH a difference in taste, don’t you agree??

I have no idea why they’re better when chopped. I make these myself with my salad chopper OR I pick one up ( a HUGE one & make it last 2 days). Everything is better when it’s finely chopped🔪! I put a sprinkle of reduced fat feta on top & some avocado! I didn’t even need dressing👌🏽

Btw, this SAVED us so many times on this Summit trip! I add oatmeal when I want/need it to be more calories. There’s only so many times you want to order room service or go out to eat when you’re away for 5 days. At least 1 superfood shake a day🍃🍒🍏🍓, plus lots of water & great workouts, helps keep away added weight & bloating when traveling 👍🏼

Recovery snack

recovery snackJust a pretty lil snack🍓! Plain Greek Yogurt sweetened to taste with stevia, 1/4 scoop Chocolate “Recover” (mixed with a little water until it’s a pudding texture💗), & 4-5 strawberries! It’s 23g protein because of the Greek Yogurt & Recover pudding!
And …no added sugars!

This isn’t just about biceps..

more_than_bicepsFirst off, we had to film a few times because my husband Matt couldn’t stop laughing at himself.

But what I really want to say here is how cool it is that he’s as dedicated to his fitness as ever, even given the diagnosis of a rare heart condition last year where he can no longer do intense HIIT workouts or heavy lifting. He has a hereditary heart valve issue. We almost lost his brother last year to this same condition & Matt lost his dad in High School due to this condition. Our son has been tested & is in the clear. 

Even though intense workout were Matt’s passion for YEARS, he never feels sorry for himself (just focuses on lighter weights, more reps, way less intensity & even better nutrition) since there are SO many people who have it way worse.


Another reason not to judge how people workout, you never know what they’re dealing with and/or overcoming.
