Yes, sometimes it’s a to! But this was quinoa, white bean hummus, avocado, wild albacore tuna, & SALSA!!

Matt & T ate quinoa, steak & broccoli.
Yes, we sometimes are eating slightly different meals. What’s important in my book is that we all find ways to eat healthy foods we like!

Today’s Leg Day Workout

Here’s what Matt & I did for our leg day earlier today !

I was too exhausted afterwards to film any more of it! SorryAlso I included my rep range & weights used, but honestly, that needs to be unique to you️! You always need to reach muscle failure to make gains in strength, or in endurance if you’re going for muscle endurance.

So if you have lighter weights, you might need to do 20 reps to reach failure instead of 8-12. And since I’m a wimpy squatter ever since my ham pull, 75# was enough for me, but many of you could do WAY more.

If you do this, tailor it to suit you but still kill your legs

New Chocolate fix replacement for me!

‎Superseedz‬Enjoying the sun pool-side with one of my fav snacks Superseedz‬!! They’re dry roasted pumpkin seeds in “Cocoa Joe” flavor 🍫They’re tree-nut free, PeanutFree‬, ‎vegan‬, nongmo‬, glutenfree‬, 7g protein, 4g net carbs. I measure out 1 serving though because I could definitely finish a whole bag. They have 3g of sugar, but if they’re replacing a chocolate-fix, they’re a better option. We order them from Amazon but many grocery stores sell them now. Some Starbucks sell the single-serve packs

Working outside, with no boss, no dress code, no office politics, doing what I love, being here when my son gets home from school, being able to put family first.. it’s everything to me. I don’t post or boast about the money I make because it’s not why I do this and never has been. But I’m also conflicted with not sharing that when I see people struggling financially & they don’t even KNOW this is a possible solution.

It’s not for everyone, but it’s life-changing for go-givers who are positive thinkers & love helping others.. Definitely worth at least looking into.

Would you be up for this cardio session to get outside today/this week??

It’s intense if you run your 1/2 miles like you’re racing & take 0 breaks, but it’s less intense & a longer workout if you jog & take lil breathers. Pick your intensity! It took me about 7 minutes per round so ~28min total. I just had to be out in this gorgeous weather today! Hopefully you can too this week!

Lift and Cardio HIIT

When you need to get in a lift & cardio HIIT all in one, this works!! Choose 3 high intensity moves & choose 3 strength exercises. Alternate 1 minute of cardio then 1 minute of strength (start heavy but if needed, pick up a lighter weight to get thru the minute without breaks)…and go thru all 6 things for 3 rounds!
You’ll be done in 20 min!

1. Don’t buy it! You don’t need to have such great discipline to not eat/drink something.. you need the discipline to stop buying it. You say your kids want it, but do they really need it???
If yes, put it out of site

2. Distract. A lot of our cravings are VERY temporary & will go away in minutes, so go do something relaxing  and get yourself out of the environment that’s triggering you.

3. Drink water. You may just be thirsty! This one is MY downfall

When I first started Shakeology several years ago, I had it for dinner w/ a small salad. My evening eating was out of control at the time! I’d be done with work for the day & try to eat a healthy dinner but my cravings & stress-release-eating would take over. Shakeo helped me put an end to that bad habit.
