No but seriously, you’re not living life to the fullest if all your actions are stopped by “what if I mess it up?” If nothing else, messing up makes for great learning lessons or really funny stories! I did a WHOLE presentation once on all the completely dumb things i did as a new business owner & each of those lessons provided insight I never would’ve had otherwise.

That said, I’m PUMPED to treat my girl boss fitness sisters- new & veterans- who earned another fun trip to South Beach in less than 3 weeks!

What’s your go-to for fast food?

If I have to stop for “fast food”, I’ll usually find a Starbucks bcuz I LOVE these egg white bites with avocado spread!

DISCLOSURE: I’m not claiming to have studied the ingredients nor am I advocating Starbucks as having amazingly healthy options (so please don’t scold me 🙉 & please check labels and know your own nutritional needs) but this is just a once-in-awhile thing and if I’m going to share openly here, that includes the random stuff I do, the random stuff I think, the random stuff I buy & the random stuff I eat too Mostly this randomness is shared in stories.

Btw, is it true Starbucks offers an almond milk now that’s only 3g sugar? How did I not know this If so, I’ll switch from getting a plain latte with coconut milk to a latte w/almond milk!

Anniversary Celebration

Matt & I took a little road trip away to celebrate our anniversary (which is actually Aug 20 but this week worked better to celebrate).

We aren’t picky about where we go as long as we can relax, eat great food, workout & shop!

Whatever you’re pursuing, don’t be in denial

HERE’S THE TRUTH…
I used to be a very stressed person, over-worked, sleep deprived, time crunched, financially tight and in denial . “I’m fine” … “No no, I’m good, thanks”

I wanted to see my son more, be at work less, do something fulfilling, move more, ..but thought I wasn’t cut out for anything else and I convinced myself I was “comfortable” in my career and I was fine with that. Anything more was too good to be legit.

But deep down I felt something was missing. I’m SO glad I listened to that tiny voice in my head. Once I realized I could do this business on my OWN terms, my OWN message & style -not pushing products or pushing a body image, but instead promoting confidence, health & balance.. I was all in! So I joined & got on social media to start sharing and connecting, and slowly building a like-minded following; helping others.

Yes, I still worked full time for 2 years while getting my business on its feet …and I will NOT say that’s EASY, but definitely do-able in pockets of time here and there, with Matt of course, & just giving ourselves lots of pep talks & timebeing consistent. Now i teach my coaches to do the same. I train them on everything I know & everything we did to get here. Some want to do this casually, others want to be all in

Monster Walks for a Monster Week

What’s up for you this week?? School starting ? Vacation?

Monster walks for the monster week we’re about to have here!! New goals📝, renewed gratitude🙏🏻, new group starting💪🏼, a freshly brainstormed to-do list ✍🏼& family plans👪.

It’s the week before our son starts back to school so it’s the “last week” for so many things!

p.s. Monster walks are good for weak piriformis muscles.

Caulipower Veggie Pizza

Are you picky about pizza or do you pretty much love ALL pizzas??

For me, all pizza is good pizza. This is caulipower veggie pizza & they sell it at most grocery stores.

I still of course eat regular crust pizza too but this is great to have on hand too! You obviously could add more of your own toppings🍕🍕

Splurges

Grateful for this day and this week!!

Just finished some cake 🎂 celebrating my mother in laws Birthday! She’s amazing!

I often don’t share those splurge moments because I’m being present in THE MOMENT not “oh, hold on everyone☝🏼, let me grab my phone & document me eating this cake!”😆 I mean, if it happens to work out to do so, I will 😁but I gotta live my life too & not feel that I have to grab my phone especially during family & special times☝🏼😉

I know many have said they want to see when I splurge more, & I do try, but those times are usually special times (family time, date nights, holidays, etc) where I’m intentionally unplugged. Ya know?

3 Things that are EXTREMELY poor for your health

You know what we (as fitness/health advocates) don’t talk about enough? 3 things that are EXTREMELY poor for your health & can throw everything off -dude, everything- to the point you won’t see results.

Too much STRESS
Not enough SLEEP
Too much SITTING

You might think you are in a situation that you can’t control/improve on any of those things but you CAN. Make uncomfortable inconvenient changes if need be!

You don’t want to regret NOT changing & have health issues, premature aging, addictions due to coping, injuries, & illnesses to arise. You NEED to be at your best for your family!
