Turkey Burgers with Braggs

Turkey burgersThis was LUNCH🍴Matt made turkey burgers, seasoned with Braggs Organic seasoning topped with tomatoes, Brussel Sprouts with garlic & evoo! Hummus & salsa for dipping!

Then I had a dark chocolate square! 🍫
I’m *estimating* roughly 400 calories (with the 50-cal dark chocolate included ) & 25g protein. I try to get in 20-30g protein at each small meal.

1 Cup ice
1 Cup Vanilla Unsweetened Almond Milk
1/2 Scoop Vanilla Shakeology
1/2 Scoop Chocolate Chill Recovery
1 Scoop Shakeology Boost Power Greens
A couple drops mint extract
1/2 Banana.

The marshmallows were just FUN and for looks but they weren’t mint.. turns out they were KEY LIME flavor ! I guess that’s a good idea for my next shake! LOL

Ezekiel Sandwiches

This was ‪an ‎Ezekiel toasted English muffin, oven roasted turkey slices (no nitrate, no msg, no antibiotics, low sodium), avocado & hummus!😛 I should’ve added tomatoes!

Yum or Yuck1/4 Avocado, 2 hardboiled eggs, red sweet peppers, & ~ 2.5T hummus on top of a baked Ezekiel wrap w/a sprinkle of RF Feta 👌

It’s ~450 calories & I ate the whole thing as 1 of my small meals but whether you should or not depends on YOUR goals & nutritional needs given your age, activity level, height, weight, the amount of muscle you have, etc.

Hubby loved it too! No, my pre-teen son wasn’t excited by this but it’s easy to make different healthy versions👍

Fit SnackThis is one of my FAVES when at home –

  • 1/2 toasted ezekiel english muffin (found in most freezer sections of your grocery store)
  • 1 hard boiled egg
  • 1/4 avocado
  • pepper to taste

Travel Prep

Travel PrepTo those who travel regularly or are going to Coach Summit this week, does this help?

I’m not advocating these things as every day, 100% clean foods to eat.. BUT hubby & I are headed to ‪‎Coach Summit & have a very busy schedule so we may not have time to grocery shop or access to food when we need it while there..& I ‪‎fear hunger 👿 So this is some of what I’ve packed in case it helps anyone else.. I hope we’ll be able to pick up some other essentials like fruit & unsweetened almond milk once there 👍
Yes, I pack tuna packets if I need protein & at least have access to some greens or bread (I love salads & sandwiches). And yes, I pack ‪sugar free vanilla creamers & yes, I know they’re not clean but I’ll survive.

Peanut Butter Toffee

👉RECIPE (makes 24oz shake)

–1.5 cups ice
–1 cup Vanilla Unsweetened Almond Milk
–1/4 cup water (so it’s not too thick)
–1 Tbsp Peanut Butter Toffee Crunch (by Nuts n More online or GNC)
–1/2 scoop ‪Chocolate Chill (BB)
–1/2 Banana
–1 scoop Vanilla Shakeology
BLEND. Add more fluid if too thick

It’s a meal! It’s HUGE!!

~400 calories, ~33g protein, & superfood-packed!

Afternoon cravings

Greek yogurt dipDid you fight it or fuel it today ?!

I don’t even LIKE broccoli really, but we have it on hand because Matt & Tyler love it. Well, this Greek Yogurt Dip was SO good it not only curbed my craving to eat chocolate & “bad” carbs, but it made me LIKE this Broccoli! Now, a little afternoon coffee and I’m good

I found some “Nuts & More” Toffee Crunch peanut butter at GNC & honestly I would’ve loved to just eat it by the spoonful. The thought only CROSSED my mind..

To me, that is an automatic “NO” because it’s SO easy to overdo it on PB!

This was just 1 tablespoon PB (so 90 calories, 6g protein), ~6 raspberries & just 3-4 slices of banana.. Keeping it low in sugar but getting in some fruit! All of this on a toasted Ezekiel muffin👌
