As the protein bar connoisseur that I am I thought I would let you know this Fit Joy Frosted Cinnamon Roll from GNC is pretty good The Quest bars (the Double Chocolate Chunk because it’s sweetened with stevia) are still my go-to though!

Weird but really good snack!

Well this was a weird but really good snack!
Yes??

A kashi toasted blueberry waffle with plain Greek yogurt (sweetened w/ all natural SweetLeaf English Toffee stevia drops from Amazon), with lil bits of apple , , & strawberry . I drizzled a little bit of “just great stuff” over it (search Amazon) & I it was great but it made this look like vomit quite honestly, so here’s the more photogenic version.

About 19.5g protein, ~20g carbs, ~2.5g fat and ~180 calories. ☝🏼No I don’t usually track macros unless I’m off track for awhile (just calculating for those who do).

Mint Chocolate RX Bar

What’s your favorite no-sugar, nothing artificial clean treat (other than Shakeology)?

I think this mint chocolate RX bar might be my new favorite RX bar flavor! There IS some sugar in these but it’s from the dates; still kinda high at 16g but still more nutrient dense than candy, a cookie, a highly processed protein bar, etc. Believe me, I have that stuff on occasion too but am always trying to improve.

There’s no added sugars and no sucralose, maltitol or any other sugar alcohols that upset my stomach either.

Nutrionist friends… what are YOUR thoughts on these as a clean treat?? State your credentials too if you don’t mind. TIA

The thing that makes this a COMPLETELY delicious snack is the “Opadipity” Greek Yogurt dip in Chipotle Ranch flavor! I’m in LOVE

Idk about your Grocery store, but we got it from Kroger. And that’s Steamed broccoli because I prefer it soft (from a Simple Truth Organic bag that you microwave 4 minutes..don’t judge), avocado & tomatoes .

My favorites were …get ready… hot dogs, pizza, pop tarts, cereal & cinnamon sugar toast!

Yes, mom cooked us some healthy meals & both parents stressed the importance of fitness (both very into fitness & mom was also a fitness instructor) …I’m just saying those were my FAVORITE things to eat …up until I had to lose weight for the ballet company. That’s what forced me at such a young age (14-16 yrs old) to learn about weight loss, fitness and how our metabolisms work. But to this day, I still love my cinnamon “sugar” toast… just modified

So this was one of my small QUICK & EASY meals/snacks (whatever you want to call it) today… Cinnamon Raisin toasted Ezekiel English Muffin topped with a tiny bit of coconut oil, cinnamon & stevia💗. I had some finely chopped salad left over from yesterday & that has like 7 different veggies in it.

Recovery snack

recovery snackJust a pretty lil snack🍓! Plain Greek Yogurt sweetened to taste with stevia, 1/4 scoop Chocolate “Recover” (mixed with a little water until it’s a pudding texture💗), & 4-5 strawberries! It’s 23g protein because of the Greek Yogurt & Recover pudding!
And …no added sugars!
