Pretty Shakeology Shake!

Did I make this pretty or what ?!

I ate too much so far today & have had ZERO time to workout yet. This has been a busy & stressful day. Some forget to eat on days like this– but I have never been one to *forget to eat* or be too stressed to eat; quite the opposite for this girl! I’ve always been one to eat if I’m stressed, bored, happy, or sad. I eat healthy, I just sometimes graze nonstop. But I never give up on trying to develop better habits

superfood smoothieSo this is what I do to bring it under control. A superfood smoothie & lots of water!

It filled this jar twice!

RECIPE:
1.5 cups ice
1 cup Vanilla Unsweetened Almond Milk
1/4 cup water
1 scoop Vanilla Shakeology
1/2 half banana
1/4 cup blueberries
Add honey, agave or stevia if you like it sweeter
BLEND WELL

Butter BananaMy FAVORITE post-lifting shake…

  • Butter Banana
  • 2 cups ice
  • 1 cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond milk
  • 1 scoop *Vanilla* Shakeology (TurboSister .com or YOUR Coach)
  • 1/2 scoop *Chocolate* Shakeology or additional MUSCLE-BLDG protein of your choice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 Banana
  • 2 Tbsp “Just Great Stuff” (crushed organic peanut powder)

~350 calories & at least 27g protein

All sugars & carbs are naturally occurring from fruit & vegetable ‎SuperFoods‬ in Shakeology which you NEED after a workout more than anymore time in your day.

JUST GREAT STUFF: Some stores like Fresh Market, Kroger’s, possibly ‎wholefoods‬ , & Amazon .com sell it or you can get its non-organic equivalent (‎PB2‬) at Target and most grocery stores.

Regular, all-natural Peanut Butter is great too but after a LIFTING sesh, the whey needs to get to those muscles fast and the fat in Peanut Butter (although a healthy fat) slows the delivery. Go ahead with your regular PB if it’s just a shake replacing a meal, or a healthy treat or post-cardio but MEASURE it out as PB is high calorie easy to over-do for some of us (me).

MAPLE BROWN SUGAR SHAKEOLOGY
This is heavenly! It almost tastes like a CARMEL shake! It’s a great postworkout meal packed with 30g protein! And since it’s Shakeology, it also has antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, 3-4 servings of fruits & veggies !

RECIPE
1.5 cups Ice (~12-14 cubes)
1 cup Vanilla Unsweetened Almond Milk
1/2 cup water
1.5 Scoops Vanilla Shakeology
1 packet dry instant Maple Brown Sugar Oatmeal (there are some cleaner versions out there I used all-natural #Kashi).

TIP: Adjust the ice or amt of fluids based on how thick or thin you like your shakes.

Vegan Shakeology Recipe

Chocolate Vegan Shakeology is my new favorite!!

If I’m using post-workout, like after a strength training workout, I do 1.5 scoops for added muscle-building protein! I have used Shakeology for 3 years, since it came out, and it’s what has gotten me leaner and made it easy for me to MAINTAIN it.
